The Boating Lake at The Waterways, is a man-made attraction and is the last of its kind in the region.
If you are up for something adventurous then the Boating Lake is the place for you. Situated on the North side of the park, the vast lake has boats and pedalos for hire.
The cost of boat and pedalo hire is £15 for 45 minutes and the lake is open during Cafe opening hours.
Maximum number of people to a boat is four and all non swimmers and those under 12 will have to wear a life jacket, although it is advisable that all wear one.
Most importantly the Boating Lake and Cafe is fully accessible to all and includes a lift for access.
